Several months ago, our spies were able to take photographs of the all-new Suzuki Swift being tested on public roads. Now, we get to see Suzuki's next-generation hatchback without any camouflage hiding the car's new face and exterior.
Posted by automotive tipster , it appears Suzuki did went for a more angular design for the new Swift. The headlights now look more aggressive, while a large hexagonal front grill replaces the simple honeycomb design. The front apron, on the other hand, gets a mild redesign, with the edges now slightly wider than before.
Also seen on the supposedly new hatchback is the sloped roofline which carries over from the current generation. There is also what looks to be C-pillar mounted rear door handles and a bee-sting antenna. Rear quarter images of the purported new Swift were not revealed however.
If this is the real McCoy, then it's highly likely that Suzuki followed-through with the leaked design renderings that we reported last March.
For engines, our insiders think that the all-new Swift will be available with a wide array of engines like a 1.0-liter turbo inline-three, 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four and the 1.2-liter Dualjet motor.
There is no word yet as to when will Suzuki officially reveal the new-generation Swift.
