The Infiniti Q60 made its world premiere at the 2016 North American International Auto Show with an expressive design coupled with features that promises to give is an ‘exhilarating performance and dynamics.’
Engineered to be lower and wider than its predecessors, the new Q60 comes with a variety of enhancements including an all-new lightweight and sophisticated 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine, new adaptive steering and a digital suspension system to deliver a finely tuned ride.
Aside from two engine options, the second being a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine producing 211 PS and 350 Nm of torque, the V6 can come with either 304 PS and 475 Nm of torque or 405 PS and 400 Nm of torque depending on customer preference. The latter offers the best power-to-efficiency ratios in the premium sports coupe class.
Clients may also opt for the rear-wheel drive layout with standard suspension or the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system with the best-in-class new Dynamic Digital Suspension that comes with a dedicated new set of dampers.
In order to give the driver a more tailor-fit steering response, the second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering that allows the driver to personalize feedback and adjust the suspension in order to suit their preference. The options include "Customize," "Standard," "Snow," "Eco," "Sport," and – new for certain models – "Sport+."
The Q60 comes with a 7-speed automatic transmission with engineered with gear ratios that have been adjusted to allow for responsive, direct acceleration and comes with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC).
Other noteworthy features include Light Guide Technology that spreads light evenly on the road, optional 20-inch wheels (a first for an Infiniti sports coupe), an Active Grille Shutter that fulfills the vehicle’s cooling requirements while also enhancing aerodynamics, lower Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) levels thanks to an Active Noise Cancellation system that comes standard on all trims, an all-new 13-speaker, Bose® Performance Series sound system that’s mated to the Q60’s InTuition central control system that uses a faster processor for quicker response.

The new Infiniti Q60 sports coupe goes on sale in selected markets later this year.
