New York 2014 Preview: Audi to unveil RS 7 Dynamic Edition

Crimson Red stitching and extensive use of performance-oriented elements highlight the model

Audi’s very exclusive RS 7 Dynamic Edition will debut at the New York International Auto Show on April 16.

It is also expected at American dealerships in a few months.

The whole idea behind this is to highlight the massive array of personalization options one can get for their RS 7, which is already a very exclusive model to begin with. But we’re not here to judge.

The RS 7 Dynamic Edition comes with a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter, TFSI V8 engine producing 560 PS that launches it from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

It also has Audi’s innovative cylinder-on-demand technology that shuts down certain valves during low-speed driving and Dynamic Ride Control suspension with three-stage adjustable dampers to provide maximum performance.

But what makes it stand out are aesthetics and performance enhancements.

Crimson Red stitching on the safety belt and throughout the interior sets it apart, plus liberal use of carbon fiber trim.

On the outside, it sports Tornado Red brake calipers with the RS 7 logo, carbon fiber elements and a sport exhaust.

“The Audi exclusive RS 7 dynamic edition exemplifies just some of the personalization options that are possible through our Audi exclusive program”, said Filip Brabec, Director of Product Planning, Audi of America.

“The combination of our most powerful RS model ever and the added customized elements make this a truly special car to drive and to behold.”
